You have finally arrived . . .you're going to be  a high school senior!   It’s something you’ve been looking forward to for years.  Celebrate this landmark moment in your life with an expression of you – your Senior portraits!  You only do it once, so let’s do it right! 

I’ll make sure that you have a fun and memorable experience and end up with photos that are unique, hot, and will capture the real you!  This is your chance to make a real statement about who you are .  From dramatic and outrageous to elegant and expressive, be yourself and look your best in our studio or at the location of your choice.  Imaging Illusions & Photography can create lasting images that will capture your personality at this major crossroad in your life, as you complete high school and embark on your future.

From simple to simply amazing, we offer high quality photographs with lots of different options.  Don’t settle for anything less!  Also, to give your pictures that creative edge, we use advanced graphic design techniques to make sure each image will be unique and picture perfect.

Getting Ready . . .

Expressions of you - You can go totally casual to totally formal.  It’s your choice. Spice up your photos a little by bringing in some props from home or school that are uniquely you!  Anything (within reason) that represents your special interests or hobbies, like sports equipment, jerseys, trophies, music instruments, your car, motorcycle, pets, etc. 

Bring along your own CDs for some background music and even a friend or two.  If you want, we can even schedule a double session so that you and your friend can come for your appointments at the same time!

Have you seen an example of a portrait you liked from a magazine or a friend?  Bring it along and we can simulate that look for you!

You will like the images of yourself – we guarantee it!

Senior Session Fee:  $40

This fee, which is due at the time of the session, includes a photo shoot that is approximately two hours long, and can include studio shots as well as on location and outdoor shots, weather permitting.  You are allowed unlimited poses and clothing changes, as time permits!  You will receive a proof album, which will be yours to keep, with up to 36  proofs.  Artistic skill and "beyond-basic" retouching of your best photos are included in the session fee.  These kinds of touch-ups include color correction, lighting adjustments, cropping, minor blemish removal, eliminating facial shine, minor airbrushing, and stray hair removal.  Black and white, sepia (brown tones) and low color enhancements are also included for no additional fee!

Your portraits can be ordered either by choosing one or more specific packages, or by ordering individual portraits, via Ala Carte. 

Additional Information:

*  Proofs will be ready no more than 2 weeks after your session, but often even sooner. 

*  Minnesota Sales Tax of 6.5% will be added to all packages and purchases. 

*  Your photo order must be paid for, in full, before the order is sent for printing. 

*  All images taken my Imaging Illusions & Photography are copy written.  It is illegal for anyone else to make copies of the pictures without authorized written consent.  You can choose to purchase the copyrights of your pictures .  It will give you the freedom to make your own enlargements or reprints anytime you want.  Keep in mind, however; that the best resulting photos will come from professionally processed images.  I will still reserve the right to use the photos for my own advertising and promotional purposes.   Copyright purchase price varies depending on the type of photo shoot:  Classic Session $110;  Senior Session  $225;  Wedding  $350.  I accept cash, personal checks, or credit cards via PayPal. 

*  Sessions can take place within 10 miles of Melrose for no additional charge.  For locations beyond 10 miles, $5 will be added for each increment of 5 miles.  For example, any location 11-15 miles away, will have an additional $5 charge.  16-20 miles away will have an additional $10 charge, and so on.

*  Images are kept on file indefinitely for re-order.  Prices are subject to change without notice.  Print prices are guaranteed for 30 days after receiving your proofs.

*  Orders should be placed within 6 weeks of receiving your proofs.  A $35 storage fee will be applied when orders go beyond that time frame.  You may purchase more prints in the future after your initial order, but please note that a $25 archival fee may be accessed to orders of less than $75.

*  If you pay with a check that is returned from the bank for any reason, you will be charged $30, in addition to still paying for the amount of the original check.

*   Keep in mind  . . . Photography is an investment!  Imaging the joy of sharing your images with generations to come!

Graduation Announcements:
There is a design fee of $15, then prices below are for the photo card and the envelope:

 Give your grad announcements an edge, and upgrade to metallic paper for an additional .40 per card!  (ask to see samples)
 

Dare To Be Creative:

The possibilities are endless!  We can do  image manipulation, extensive blemish removal, teeth whitening, braces removal, head swap, eye switch, remove tan lines, give you a tan or change your skin tone, soften the image, add designer edges and soft glows, apply a filtered effect, add creative coloring or spot coloring to black and white or sepia images, etc. Pricing for such projects can be very tricky, as each situation is unique.  Generally, prices will be as follows:

The Advanced Photo Editing Creation fee is $40 per hour, charged in 15 minute increments.  It is worth noting that many of the techniques I listed  can take as few as 5 minutes to complete.  Also, this charge would be done cumulatively over your entire order, meaning if you have 3 different pictures that each took 5 minutes for their special enhancements, then the charge would only be $10 for 1 - 15 minute time slot - not for 3 different ones.  I would do my best to give you an estimate before I began working on it.  The Creation Fee is in addition to the cost of the portraits.  Collages and greeting cards are billed differently. 

Collage prices are as follows:

* Additional photos can be added to a collage for $5 each

* Non-traditional sizes are also available – please call ahead for quotes if you are interested

* If you order 2 or more collages, you will receive a $5 discount on each!
